100 mph Winds Rage Through Kansas

Wednesday night's summer storms left behind a lot damage, especially in Lincoln, Kansas.
Troopers say four semis blew over within five minutes. Traffic was diverted for several hours, but no one was hurt. Leiker said he's never been through anything like it.
Thirty minutes later straight line winds ripped through the town of Lincoln.
"Approximately 100 mile an hour, coming from the west," said Lincoln County Sheriff Russ Black.
"I just pulled in and I was getting ready to open my door and a boat blew up against the side, and I heard the tree breaking," said storm victim Jake Gardner. "I hopped out the passenger side really quick, and it just landed right across my hood."
Tree limbs and power lines were blown down all over town, some landing on cars and houses. Rachel Meyer was working on her computer when a tree limb came through the window beside her.
"I saw it and I tried backing up, but it was kind of late," said Meyer.
